Hope for Reading is located in northern Hillsborough, NC, USA off of HW86, just a few miles north of quaint downtown Hillsborough and just north of
Orange Middle School
and Orange High School.
I LOVE my little
gingerbread house office!
It was built unfinished for me by Shed Depot of Sanford, NC... a neat company.
It was designed in advance with my clients in mind. The finish work I did myself with the help of family.
It has been a labor of love.
There are windows on all sides and it is filled with natural light.
The furnishings are intentionally somewhat darker, to give my dyslexic and Irlen Syndrome clients' eyes a rest
during screening and tutoring!
The heating and air system is ultra quiet. It keeps the temperature comfortable
and the atmosphere calm.
Along those lines, the office is highly insulated and soundproofed.
Hope for Reading is handicapped accessible with parking and a ramp.
I strive to have my cozy office be a refuge for my clients, who most often have been misunderstood because of their
difficulties in reading.
